Ramsay Farms

Our breeding groups were put together from October 31st  to January 6th. Our F1 Jericho son, Jazz, had thirteen girls in with him. We expected katmogets or blacks from all ewes as Jazz is potentially homozygous for black. Our F1 Timothy son, Barish, had nine ewes. His offspring were katmogets in either grey or fawn, and black or moorit lambs as he has the potential for carrying moorit. Our third breeding groups was our very own Heath, a double Tennyson son, who is the darkest moorit with the richest color. He had four Shetlands and both BFL ewe lambs.

Jazz produced all black or grey katmoget lambs this year! He is most likely homozygous black.
Barish produced all black lambs this year, He is also mostly likely homozygous black.
Heath produced several lambs, some of which were moorit, some were black or grey katmoget like their mothers.

All lambs exhibited very tight, crimpy and uniform fleeces like their fathers and I was able to make vast improvements with the lambs over their mothers this year.
